• Responsible for developing FormADV analytics Project
• Developed a python module for the project which generated meaningful data for the analytcis from more than 10K files containing unorganized data
• The python module tracks the changes in the SEC Filings and keeps track of changes for the sake of better analytics. The First run of the module generated 1.8 million rows in database

Projects

Stock Analysis and Recommendation

Designed an engine that analyses more than 3200 stocks prices of last 25 years from yahoo using Hadoop MapReduce. Based on volatility and performance, stocks are ranked. Finally using Twitter data collected using its API and Stanford NLP library, we try to measure the sentiment on the market as well as the stock in particular.

Mini blogs

Developed a scalable web application using J2EE and Mongo DB where users can read or write based on a trending topic according to their interest. The trends will be taken using twitter API and reddit API. User can also login using Facebook and write ups shown to them will be based on their likes

Twitter Map

Developed a Web App using Java, Amazon RDS and deployed using Amazon Elastic Beanstalk. It will show recent tweets about particular trend from around the world in World Map.

Unix File System

Developed Customized file system using FUSE, a kernel loadable module, which would manage current processes active or retired of the operating system. The File system created a multilayered structure to better organize processes.

Mini Projects

Implemented Dinning Philosophers problem and implemented three different solutions for the problem including Dijkastra’s own solution using multithreading.

Implemented simpler version of Page Rank Algorithm using Map Reduce as Big Data Technology.

Implemented secure password manager using Java Crypto that encrypts password in user’s choice of mode (i.e ECB, CBC or CTC) and uses shadow file to manage passwords.

Achievements
